Waiting for obligatory post saying you're all wrong the X-trans sensor in the X-Pro1 and XE-1 is clearly superior and with RAW editing can dominate the world.*
*sarcasm
-- in truth the NEX-6 in my experience has a faster responding EVF delay from when you stick your eye up to it, and when it turns on (big deal to me, reason why I don't buy any of these EVF cameras)
NEX-7 resolution is outstanding, 24mp, even with the Zeiss 24 it still can get sharper and sharper, but the trade off is poor ISO performance, at 1600 I was encountering visible noise.
That's where the NEX-6 has a much better time, all the way up to 6400 worth, but i'd stay at 3200. Heck I shoot most of the time at 3200 with no annoyance.
I'm in the neither camp; haha.
I got an NEX-5n and it still gives me no reason to upgrade.
(for a ridiculous price of $350 with lens there isn't a camera that convinces me it's worth 1.5-2x-3x the NEX-5n yet)
This is what annoyed me on my Nex 5n EVF untill I taped proximity sensor with some electrical tape so it stays on all the time or until I manually switch it off
