Sony RAW converter v. Lightroom v. Capture One...

Hi all,

What is your experience with the Raw converter supplied with the NEX cameras? Although it seems almost impossible to get any artifacts with it, how it stands against the most popular converters? Thanking in advance for the insightful comments.

I haven't used the Sony RAW converter with my NEX, but, with DSLRs, the Sony program seems to not give as much detail as its competitors, but I think the colors look good. Of course, converters like Lightroom also have many more features and cataloguing opportunities.

the latest lightroom works great, esp if you shoot in Raw.

once you learn some of the basics, like NR, it really works well.
