Sony rumored to reveal full-frame NEX-FF on September 24th

It's hard to get into Sony stuff if you are used to Leica. So very different ergonomically.
You soon adapt, I got used to my NEX-7 in less than a couple of weeks. Absolutely no problem using Leica lenses and the camera has been totally reliable. I'm still using an 8 yr old Sony DSC-P100 and the images are great from that too. I personally value reliability and ease-of-use over most other things.

Sony, you either don't mind them or you do... what I meant was that if you want a Mechnical rangefinder camera, these new Sonys will not do it for you. I don't even own a Leica at the moment, so this isn't snobery. They just couldn't be any different in usage. I decided I don't care about Leica lenses anymore and went Fuji with fuji lenses.

I can understand eveybody who is interested in this cam, but strangely enough I don't feel any "must-have"-urge this time.

groundhog day

waiting for the digital camera that plays well with M lenses and doesnt cost a newborn
it's announced
it fails in some way

my interest plummeted after the sketch of the design was posted. :bang:

looking forward to the full frame pentax now.

Actually neither do I. My NEX-7 pretty much does all I need a digital camera to do and I enjoy using it along with my Leicas.

I just want to be able to use my rf lenses in digital without crop and smallest form factor possible.

Exactly. All these "oh. it's ugly" comments are totally beside the point.

If your priority is results this could be a real breakthrough camera. If your priorly is posing at the coffee shop--just grab a contax 2a and call it good.

been also waiting this so many years that it could be painted pink and have hello kitty stickers all around. would still buy it as long as it has right size sensor and no Leica premium in price tag.

maybe a coincidence but never before seen M8's going cheaper on eBay than similar condition M7, until now.

No IBIS though. IBIS would greatly help for hand held work. I would have liked a M5 size but with IBIS.
Any comment?
