Sorry for going missing, folks

gerry, i'm wondering when the movie version of your story is coming out?
i can't even imagine that series of events happening to me.

i take it that things have calmed down some since them?

Joe,

Things have calmed down and we are in the new house finally. Fortunately the hospital stay was only caused by too much of the wrong medication. It actually was pretty funny in retrospect. I drove one car out to the new house on a friday with some things that we didn't want to trust to the movers. (My wife was already working here and was living in a rental house) I planned to fly home monday to finish packing and be there for the movers the following friday.

On saturday Ellie took me over to see the house we had bought and I walked in and passed out. I woke up in the emergency room with her hovering over me, and I said to her, "Honey, don't take this as a comment on the house. I really like the little I saw of it."

Bill,

Stick with the no smoking. Giving up is very hard and today after twelve years if I smell a freshly lit cigarette I want one.

Be tough, Gerry
