I really don't remember if I asked these questions in the past..

I assume that both Zeiss and Leica are able to do what follows.

Could be interesting a lens like the tri-elmar (even quad-elmar 😀 ) as:

( 25 - 28 - 35 - 50 ) F/2 ? or a

( 25 - 28 - 35 - 45 ) F/2 or AT LEAST a

( 28 - 35 - 50 ) F/2?

If any, if it would have the 85 - 90% of the primes quality, would you buy it?
I think so. If it would cost about 1500 - 1800€ wouldn't you think of it?

Best regards.

Nothing like a good old Dpreviewesque question.

I think you should propose the legendary and elusive 10-1000mm f1.0 lens and create a poll for it.

Oh, yes, I remember I had asked there (for SLR) but since later it had come out the RF better working at shorter distances and for reportage, I'd be interested in exploring this world too. Just to know.

Thanks, though.

You forgot the 8x10 inch coverage at full aperture, macro focusing, pocketability and under-$100 price tag.

Cheers,

very good ideas here ;-)

but to answer italy74: an advantage of RF-cameras is the small size also of the lenses. A zoom or comparable lens with f/2 would be much too large, heavy and will block the built-in viewfinder
