Hi,
I'd like to get my hands on a nice, fully working, Canon 7 body...sometime in the future (next couple of months). My question is: what do you think is better?
1) keep an eye on the bay (something like object 7576269027, which caught my attention) and hope for a stroke of luck;
2) get it from a reputable dealer. I've seen you like KEH a lot around here: would you buy a "bargain" rated body from them?
3) post a WTB in the classified section of an extremely reliable and well behaved forum (like....this one).
I know it seems a no-brainer: hang around here and wait for the good news, but: how would you rate the other alternatives?
Thanks for sharing your valuable experience,
Gus.

I got mine from KEH. For my feelings on KEH's bargain grading, see my post near the bottom of this thread - post #18: http://www.rangefinderforum.com/for...ead.php?t=14886

Thanks William,
I see what you mean....I've noticed too that KEH graded "bargain" a 7 just because of "shutter wrinkles" (doh!). At first I thought it might have been "way too many/too deep wrinkles" to operate the camera properly, but then I started to suspect what you confirmed in your post.
I'll probably wait for a beauty in a bargain dress then...
thanks,
Gus.
