I didn't say it was a good thing. They learned it from the best. There are as many bankers in Shanghai as Wall Street.

Western economic growth is driven by unlimited money printing (the Fed), not entrepeneurs or wall street.

it's not all that surprising, considering digitalrev is a very popular web camera program, and that kai is a leica enthusiast. probably partially popular opinion, but that show might also have some influence on camera popularity as well.

also, we should remember that HK is considered a special administrative region of china and with separate laws and a different political system and even a different dialect of spoken language (all regions have dialects but all of them speak mandarin as well, in HK you can get by knowing only cantonese and/or english).

i wonder how many of those 50% are mainlanders, and further, how many are in places other than beijing and shanghai.
