Pennsylvania South East Events

Cool, David!

Is anyone up to making the monthly get-together meetings a "Walking Atlanta Photo Event" each time? I know a local photo school does Friday nights shooting Atlanta but that is a bit more difficult for some folks, including me.

On February 26, we will be in the Little Five Points area.

How about suggestions for other locations, and would Sunday be a more convenient day?

Considering the low number of SE folks we have and the cost of getting the silk screen done for an initial run of shirts the price might be prohibitive.

Ah, considering the cost of Harley Davidson T-shirts (Hanes Beefy Tees) around $24-30/shirt, it is actually probably doable...that is, unless you guys think that is too much.

Two years ago, The Kodachrome Project sold similar shirts for $30 and I wound up buying two and they still look good today.

So, what say you?:)

Cherokee Pow Wow

Cherokee Pow Wow

Been trying to break away for years to attend the Cherokee Pow Wow in June. One of numerous events. Hopefully, I will find time to go this year and make my grandmother proud!;)

This will be a great opportunity to exercise the R4.

Anyone else like to make a daytrip out of it?:)

I'd like to tag along on your trip, unless one of my new part-time jobs prevents it. Please keep me posted on the date. I'd plan to shoot both Ektar and Reala and see which one got the colors the best. I'll bet that 120 Ektar run through the big Fuji would yield some great images. John

That would be most excellent as the photo opportunities are incredible:

the reason that i guessed rome is that it was the "capital" of the tsa-la-gi (cherokee) nation at the time of the removal ...

Life is too short - How about a darkroom session?

Damn, Spring will be gone in no time and no one has had a darkroom session for us newbies!

Developing my own film is a must. Scanning will be next.

So, anybody want to rent a darkroom?:)
