Hey, thanks. Love your work. What lens is the La Jolla stuff with? My cousins live in Manhattan Beach. Love that place. Used to ride down from their neighborhood straight onto the mouth of The Strand, and ride up to its terminus in the North of Santa Monica, eat at Patrick's Roadhouse.

Those were the days.

Thanks. The La Jolla pic was taken with a 35 Tilt/Shift lens (Photex, made in Ukraine) on an FM2. Not a rangefinder, I know....
 
Hey, um, could ya all schedule the next one not on a second Saturday?

I live ten minutes away and am working...
 
We currently have 10 memebers in the club, and the second saturday was the day all of us could meet, so unfortunatley, that's not going to change.

However.. are ya'll interested in perhaps doing a southern california RFF get together on another day that's more convenient? As we pass through spring, maybe we can take advantage of the wonderful, sunny weather, go do some local photography, then hit the beach for a BBQ or something? *shrug* :)

Well, like I said on the forum several times... any day but a second saturday:)

It is the only weekend day I work.
 
Which reminds me, would anyone here be interested in doing some shooting in the Gas Lamp district of San Diego some night (Friday or Saturday would be best)?
 
I'd like to try the gas lamp district, yes, how about when it warms up a bit?

Oh.. and BUMP. Our next meeting is a week from saturday, on the 8th. We're supposed to go to the living desert out near coachella I think.. but I don't think we're going to have any members go except for me and one other guy, it's a mixed up crazy weekend for everyone.

bumpity bump.. meeting is this sat @ 8am. Only two of us plan to drive out to the living desert, we may end up doing something else. But would still like to see some people at breakfast :)

I'll be in O.C. for the first two weeks in June. I'll be in either La Habra, Brea, or Huntington Beach, depending on which day it is. (Long story.)

If the club meeting happens while I'm there, I'll drop by. I'll be vringing a CL this trip.
