Speed when 2000 flashing with R3A?

Hi there

Just checking about the shutter speed when the indicator on my R3A is flashing 2000 in aperture priority. I presume it is still 1/2000th? I can't remember what (or if) the manual states.

It means that you better stop down 'cuz ur gonna overexpose 😉

Sorry, I should have made myself clearer. For example, on occasion, I might be recomposing, need to get a quick shot and not have time to stop down. So, just wondering if I will still be getting a 1/2000th shutter speed as I probably can live with a 1 or 2 stop over-exposed shot. Hope that makes sense...

Well you'd get 1/2000 because that's the fastest the camera can manage. But you may need 1/4000 or 1/8000 or whatever - there's no way of knowing.

Thanks. Yep - risky in not knowing but (eg today) just wanted the shot.

If the 1 and the 2000 are flashing at the same time, that means your batteries are running low!
