Who else has a spouse who uses Ms or M-mount? What lenses do they use? Do their camera/lens choices differ from yours? What other cameras do they use?
Frances uses Leica, ZI and Voigtländer, and her favourite lenses are 18mm (Zeiss), 50mm (Summarit) and 90mm (Summicron or Apo-Lanthar). She also likes her Alpa 12 S/WA with 6x9 back and 35 Apo-Grandagon.
Cheers,
R.

my girlfriend has a leica cl with a jupiter-8 I gave her. apart from that her lens choices depend on what lens I am not using. she's not shooting much at the moment though.

My wife goes for the Rolleicord or Nikon F4s. She doesn't really see the appeal of rangefinders.
Edit: As for Ms, I've never shot with one myself. I doubt my Ali will ever find herself interested in using one. At least for the moment, smaller LTM camera work better for me [if only one had 35mm frame lines I'd be set indefinitely

My wife has no interest at all in cameras, so I get to keep all my toys.

My wife is a great photographer but has fairly serious astigmatism in her shooting eye and has trouble focusing an RF even with correction. She has several Nikon SLRs and dSLRs.

my fella appreciates my love of photography, doesn't notice when a new camera or lens appears out of nowhere (they look all the same to him!), puts up with me when i drag him to yet another exhibition, and cool enough to help me build my second darkroom. i have let him look through the viewfinder a couple of times, but it's just not his thing. he's happy with his iphone camera, better so!

My wife can't get around focusing a rangefinder or SLR film camera, but is perfectly happy with her D50 Canon and two D300 bodies. Lenses 10-18mm, short range zoom, 50mm F1.8 (Lightsucker), and 70-300mm. She has a good eye.

My wife shoots digital, I'm stuck with film. She loves her Lumix P&S. Has a great eye, too.

Wife shoots P&S digital, but she is great with a 12 gauge shotgun. I'm a dutiful husband.
I should say that her refusal to learn anything more than program mode has repeatedly been a problem. When out, she rarely has her camera and yet wants to take a photo of me. Of course, she refuses to learn how to use the rangefinder. Needless to say, I'm generally absent from family photos.

Nope, wish she were that interested. I've gotten her a number of cameras, film & digital, but the one she keeps in her purse is an Oly Stylus Epic Zoom 80 (38-80mm zoom lens) film clamshell. Occasionally she even uses it... But that's what makes her happy & she is good about my photography so I count myself lucky.

Sadly thought she can she refuses to use cameras that have her thinking too much. Use to be an AE-1 Program or N2020, now it's DP&S.
All in all I'm not complaining.

My wife Sue uses a Rolleiflex and a Holga - this is one of her recent shots:
My son James uses a Mamiya 7 and a Nikon F5 and my other son Alex uses a small Sony compact digital, and occasionally my E1.
We like photography.
