Ah, winter... Cold, snowy, rainy, cold, ice and slush, $&@&$!?$&$)! cold? Have you been a slacker like me and stayed indoors? Are you suffering from cabin fever or worse? Do your cameras deserve to be free and used?
If you answered yes to just one of these questions or if you would just like to meet up in April... Please let us know and offer some suggestions on location and dates.
ASHEVILLE?
ATLANTA?
CHARLESTON?
GREENVILLE?
MACON?
SAVANNAH?
Lots of choices!

Dave, you're back?!
It's a bit much for me to arrange a trip down south for a photo meetup, but I am glad to see your return.
Hope all is well with you and yours.

Charleston is nice and so very photogenic. There is no telling what the weather will be here in the upstate in April.

Robert,
Hey, sorry I did not respond earlier. Long days at Emory and just got in from a 10 hour marathon today. Are you still planning a trip to the US later this year? That would be fantastic! We surely will have you set for an RFF meet-up not to mention the full VIP treatment as usual Southern Hospitality provides!
This is looking to be a very interesting year!

Paul, Mike,
A vote here for Charleston too! Any thought on when and location? Hopefully before the weather gets too hot ....

Anyone up for Asheville, NC?
Lots of photo ops in and around The Biltmore. Downtown is really nice with lots of street opportunities. And, of course, the Blue Ridge Parkway and the gorgeous mountain views.
I am good for that anytime!!'

Atlanta is far enough for me, but I'd like to see Savannah or Charleston at some point. I'm fairly busy during March and April, but am looking to take a long weekend last weekend in April or first weekend in May...

Oh, and welcome back Dave...
Hi, Al!
Been awhile.. Hope all is well with you.
Spent some photocentric time with Paul today and it was good for the soul. It is time to get you and the other guys back together! It dawned on me before that we should plan more than one. Manuel's Tavern is slated to be razed soon so maybe we can get in under the wire. If not an initial meet up elsewhere in Atlanta should be first and we can go from there.
Think you can make it up for early lunch on Saturday?

Dave, good to see you back again. What's going on at Emory? I've got to be in far NE GA the last weekend in March, but would consider Atlanta--starting at Manuel's, for the first weekend in April. I could probably talk the better half into going to Savannah the same weekend, too.
Regards,
John

Hi, John... Thanks, good to hear from you!
Emory? Long story.
The weather is a bit weird lately so March is probably out. The whole month of April and , of course, May should be fairly open for a meet up in Atlanta. Savannah is best visited when the azaleas are blooming but that varies a lot every year. So we will keep an eye on that. Charleston, the same.
Farther north is more like May for the weather. I will post a sign up soon as the mysteries of the near future unfold!!! In the meantime, I am getting gear ready and I am looking forward to seeing you guys!
