Standard chrome

I seem to have ended up with a chrome Standard...should I be happy? It seems like the original bargain basement Leica (bit like the IIf B/D).

Now, I don't know how common chrome Standards are but I do know that the viefinder from a CV 21mm doesn't fit...so I won't do what I want it to.

Having said that it is small, light and tidy. Would you keep it? Would you trade it on?

I would look for a nice old chrome 21mm Leitz finder. I just tried it to fit my 1930 model I and it fits, so it will surely fit a chrome Standard. These finders aren't too difficult to find.

when it is that you have enough, the the opportunities to have more are wide open like a floodgate. when you have little then everything is scarce.
