Standardised holiday kit, what's yours

If it's a holiday planned by my lovely wife, I'll take a Sony a6000 with the kit lens. She can become a bit impatient if I spend too much time on photography and lag behind. If it's a holiday that I planned for us I'll take a D750 and several MF lenses. If it's just me, which happens less often these days, I'll take a Nikon film camera, the Sony or the Nikon digital and a lightweight tripod.

Just about all I ever carry, anyway, is something like a 50 and a 24 or one of the lenses on either side of that, some body, and a half dozen rolls of Tri-X. Sometimes I'll throw in a C/V 15mm, because it's so small. I bought LTM versions when I could, so I can take an M4 or my IIIa, either one. Or, sometimes it's 24/50/Nikon FG. Always something in that general concept, though. I never use longer lenses, and I never carry everything I could possibly fit in my bag.

Depends on how much luggage I'll be bringing on the trip.
I would like to bring:

- Hasselblad 500 C/M with 50/4, 80/2.8 and two backs
- M6
- M8
- Summilux 35 asph
- Voigtlander 50/1.5
- Tripod
- Delta 3200 (135 and 120)
- T-Max 400 (135 and 120)
- Delta 100 (135)
- Ektar 100 (120)

The tripod is the first thing to be cut from the list.

For a light weekend trip, or something where shooting will not be my primary reason for travel, I more often than not pack my trusty F3, a 50mm and a 28mm. Invariably I only shoot with one of those two lenses, but I never know which one it'll be until I get where I'm going 😉

For leisure travel, my absolute minimum kit would be:
Zeiss Ikon with CV 28/3.5 and ZM 50/2

For a serious photography trip:
ZM 21/4.5, CV 35/2.5, CV 75/2.5 (more spread),
or alternatively:
ZM 25/2.8, ZM 35/2, ZM 50/2 (av. light),
usually with both bodies (ZI + R4A)...

For business trips, sometimes I manage to just bring the CV 35/2.5...

Much depends on the mood, as has been said. But if I bring more than 3 lenses, it tends to burden me down instead of freeing me up...
