The first of two shows I went to on August 18, 2012, this one was at the Salem, VA Veterans Affairs (VA) MedicalCenter grounds. The big heat has finally abated, and folks could enjoy themselves without worrying about passing out. And, I was able to pick up some VA info at the display booths. The proceeds from the food tent all went to the VeteransCenter.
I was using the Panasonic DMC-TZ3, and every time I pointed it at a car from a certain angle, I got glare lines in the LCD screen. I thought they would show up in the finished photos, so I either missed shots I wanted to take, or changed the angle at which I took them. It turns out that I went through a lot of trouble for something that didn't affect the photos at all, it was just on the viewing screen. Post work was done in PS Elements 10.
