My schedule is such that I'm not going to be able contribute to the forum for a few days. So, as always, this space is open to anyone who would like to start a thread. Also, here's a few portrait tips from Peter Hurley via the NYT

Anyone struggle to trade-in gear at Adroama?
Anyone struggle to trade-in gear at Adroama?
I would like to know your experiences trading in gear at Adorama. Perhaps my experience is rare. I sent in gear to be evaluated weeks ago. They finally got back to me with a quote. I was promised receipt of new gear and a check late this week. I haven't received a thing.
Have you had good or bad experiences at Adorama with trade-ins?
Perhaps I should have no concerns but the speed and communication has not been good in my experience.
I have sold on eBay in the past with no problems.

I don't do portraits very often, but that was great and for me new material.

Thanks for the headsup on the portrait tips article, Bill
I laughed at the tips for making a good male portrait, as Snidely Whiplash came to mind for some strange reason.
