I'd love to see more shots with this lens on different film. I like the tonality and grainlessness of C41 b&w, I don't think it provides highest resolution. Not that I'm a resolution freak, but it would be interesting to have some test shots to demonstrate resolution. Also, my impression of C41 is that matching tonal range of a medium speed film such as APX 100 is difficult with with XP2 or TN400. It seems like you have to nail the exposure exactly to do that, though I could be wrong due to limited experience.

The reason I'd love to see more is that I found the Steinheil Cassar 50/2.8 on a Tower 19 to be really, really sharp. I have only shot it on Kodak c41 b&w and Eckerd/Fuji C41 200. Now I'd like to run some APX 100 through it and see the results. Once you dial in the best combo with a Steinheil, it could be a one of those magic combinations.

If you wish to see the results of the Steinheil 85 with C41 color film, look at page 2 of my gallery. All three were made with 85, the first on an EXA and the tulips with an 85 on my Leica IIIf RD.
