step up

I'm wondering if placing a 40.5 to 46mm step up ring and a 46mm filter on a Hexanon 50mm would cause vignetting 😕 Thanks for your time.

Probably someone who has done it will come up and give 1st hand advice. However, my experience with other normal lenses indicates one stepup ring on a normal lens should not be the cause for vignetting.

You go wider so I don't think there will be vignetting. But I have the same lens and use a 40.5 uv filter.
