i sort of knew steve from his time here at the edmonton journal.
we would occasionally meet up at very public gigs, parades etc.
the local pros were often interested in my gear as i usually had something a bit different on the go - my minolta cle, for example.
steve was always very nice to chat with and always had a minute to spare.
