I got a phonecall from Solms now and it seems like the real reason why Lee was sacked was because he and Kaufmann always disgussed CoC values and they couldnt agree on how the value was with crop sensors and FF.

Mr. Lee was dismissed withou notice, by Kaufmann. In the german industrial world this type of dismission is very unusual: industrial espionage? Hevy error of merit-rating? We don't know. It is sure that many persons are very happy without Lee, in and out the Leica Camera AG.
