Strange numbers

Hi folks, I've bought an early post war IIIC (1945). I've found an alphanumeric engraving on the baseplate. I think it belongs to a UsArmy GI (social security?). Do you think it's possible to found out who was the owner?

Perhaps if you posted the number, someone could be able to tell you what it may refer to?

eg. If it's a GI's serial number I'm sure someone will know it is, though they probably couldn't tell you who the GI is.

A GI Army Serial Number will be 8 or 9 digits depending on when he joined or was drafted.
There are a number of ASN databases online that can be searched.

Social Security if the H is a 4. Follows the xxx-xx-xxxx pattern.

If it is a SS number, the 527 prefix indicates the SS number was issuesd in Arizona from 1936-1950.
