Fortunately, this problem is not on my Contax, it's an LTM Leica.
The camera runs fine. It's in great shape but the camera lugs are severely worn. They worry me. I'm not uncomfortable getting down to the bare shell and I'm think I can get the old ones out.
Nailing down the rivet is another question altogether.
I am reasonably sure I saw someone allude to replacing the lugs in a Contax.
Any chance someone here can explain the process, tool, whatever other than with the powered riveter.
Thanks.

I have a lug that rotates slightly, on a Leica IIIa. If there is a way to tighten the riveting, I would like to hear about it, also.
