Street photography clubs in Detroit area?

Don't know if topic is in the right forum, but...

I wonder if anybody knows any street photography clubs / groups in Detroit Metro area. I live here for the 20 years now and never heard of one, but maybe somebody else did?

If not, why don't we just found one? Who would be interested in participation? If we have enough people in the area who is interested in street shooting it can work..

I don't care if it's digital or film, black/white or color. I am interested in good photos, good discussions, opinions, etc.

Off-topic: I just want to compliment you on some great photos. I especially enjoyed Morning Bus and Daily Life. Good stuff.

On-topic: Have you looked around on flickr? E.g.: http://www.flickr.com/groups/exposuredetroit/ -- while it's not exactly what you're looking for, it looks quite active and the people there might have ideas. On the bottom of the page there's also a huge list of other Detroit/MI-related flickr groups.

meetup.com can also be good way to find people. http://photo.meetup.com/cities/us/mi/detroit/ shows several photography meetup groups in the area. It would also be a good place to start your own group.

Look on Flickr, you might like these guys. Ann Arbor Crappy Camera Club. They have meetings at the local brew every month.

There are a lot of photography groups, but I don't think there is anything specifically for street photography.

I do frequently go to downtown and test my cameras. So this is something I would be interested in as well.
