South Apopka, Florida 2006 - Ms. Johnson, grandmother of Keisha Johnson from previous post. Also part of the photo ethics discussion about the need to mention her smile is a result of her severe dementia. This was from a "Community Portrait" project I did back then.
This photo was the promo piece for my exhibit
"Cuba y Sud Apopka EE.UU - dos culturas similares" or "Cuba and South Apopka US - two similar cultures" at Galeria Carmen Montilla in Havana. It was a mix of photos from both places where you had to read the caption to learn the location.
