street portraits

Thanks a lot Andreas. This gives me as a beginner of street photography confidence that my shots are not too bad. I hope to develop my style in future and also be able to shot more from a little distance and show more of the surroundings. Most of my pics are very close, I think because it's so difficult to compose, find a "story"or the right balance, and more easy to focus on the person only.
Also your picture with the guy giving money to that girl, amazing! That's what I hope to achieve as a result one day...

that's exactly what I was thinking when I was viewing your's! they are much more what the title 'street portraits' promises, fleeting, funny, soulful expressions taken candidly at close range.
Mine are mostly taken after the subject had consented and I am struggling with the idea of candids, though the street sales girl you mentioned had been taken without her knowing
