Thanks Mike. People make sure to pay off their debts, paint the house etc... The Vietnamese are also a practical people: tradition has it that the first person to enter your house in the Lunar New Year will bring you, either no luck, bad luck, or good luck, and so they just arrange for a ''lucky'' person to enter your house. Problem solved.
