I post this photo because I love it. The man is the head of a small bakery in Santa Rosalia, BCS, Mexico. He takes in street kids as apprentices and teaches them how to bake. The first thing they learn is Boleos/Bolillos the omnipresent Mexican hard roll. Then they learn to bake more different things. He is very kind-hearted and good natured. Yeah, I really liked the guy. Anyway, here he is in the doorway of the retail end of his small operation with a little kid running up the stairs for what is probably a sugar cookie, free. That's just the kind of guy he was.

The late Mr. Dennis Blair. Someone had hired Dennis to cut their lawn and had given him money to buy gasoline for their lawn mover. Dennis had computed there was enough money for him to first buy himself a beer and still have enough left over to buy the necessary gas.
