Ouch on paint as always. And I've heard both of them take ages to get anything back to you. As for the rapid load, suprisingly cheaper than I thought it would be.
 
There is a time and place for everything. And that place is called College.

Another Leica should appear way down the list of everything me thinks 🙂

I don't. 🙂

Consider listening to the wizen advices given here. When I don't entertain GAS, and taking pictures instead, I am happier in the long run. 🙂

Thank your lucky stars that you already have a kit that I could only dream about when I was in school. Thank your lucky stars that you already have a kit that some folks have based their whole careers on. That's right. An M body and the 35mm Summicron. GOOGLE around and you'll find the gentleman based in Japan who works with 2 M bodies and 2 35mm Summicons. Period. Like Einstein's wardrobe, it takes all the worry out of lens selection.

Give yourself a few years before you add the second body & lens and you'll be set for life.

I'm beginning to roll all my own film.
Just did my first 100' last week.

As for a kit:
An M2 (M3) with my DR 50/2 and an M4 (M4-2/M5) with my 35/2.
Thats all I really want, and lots of film, lots and lots of film.

Sounds like a good plan to me. To my experience, the more you shoot the more you learn which camera-(features) you really need to get the photo YOU want. Some prefer a onboard meter, some AE, some a meter-less camera. It is a pure personal choice. 😉
 
Well I've found out a lot by shooting, and a lot from reading on the internet (including this website) about the Leica M series and its odd and sometimes useful features.
-
I just want a second body out of shear gear lust.
But beyond that, a second body will give me the use of two films,
two seperate lenses, and the shear lure of two Leica's on my neck.
