That is hilarious. I have stuck my Vivitar 283 on one of mine, actually took a couple of shots. Usually for flash I use a tiny, 1 AA cell, Vivitar 45, it's still about as big as the camera.
If I can figure out how to post pictures here I show my 16II with a Tamron 4X aux telephoto and also with a .42X aux fisheye lens, both mounted with a home made series V adapter. As long as you don't examine the corners too closely the 4X actually works pretty well with the lens stopped down. Of course focus is by scale so for less than 60 feet or so you have to be reasonably good at judging distance.
