There used to be a dim sum place on Dundas St. E called Sin Quan (think that was the name) that had an entry that looked a lot like that place. Place was massive and it was a dim sum lover’s dream - wonder if that’s the same location.
Guess it’s changed names a couple of times - Seafood Master I think was another name?Absolutely! I have had many dim sum breakfasts there. Now gone and to be replaced by a large Chinese restaurant. Cheers, OtL
This is the next mega restaurant to open at this venue. This afternoon, I walked around the Sino Mall and found that many of the shops I knew had not survived the C-19 onslaught...the bakery; the hairdresser; the knick-knack shop. The Asian supermarket is still going strong, as are the banh mi, tofu, and soy milk shops. Cheers, OtL

I can’t explain it, but this photo makes me both sad and sort of nostalgic (I want to say mournful, which fits too, what is nostalgia but a sort of mourning for a past that didn’t exist). It makes me think of my time living in Manhattan Kansas in the 90s, walking in the fog. The wind. That strange disjointedness of childhood.
Thanks for that ... because this is what photos should do in my opinion. I appreciate your words! 🙂I can’t explain it, but this photo makes me both sad and sort of nostalgic (I want to say mournful, which fits too, what is nostalgia but a sort of mourning for a past that didn’t exist).
