Hi, thanks for your response! I think I have the C35 V version, which has only zone-focus. Good idea to just give it a try.doesn't the Konica C35 have a coupled rangefinder?
anyway, my suggestion would be to simply put a film and a fresh battery in and try it out (as long as it still works).

Another camera I'm considering is the Canon P. Not sure, if this camera is suited for wider lenses?
I also read about this camera being sensitive to get out of callibration: "It's very easy to knock rangefinder cameras like the Canon P out of horizontal or vertical RF calibration with small knocks or jars." (source: Canon P - my favorite Japanese rangefinder - Photoethnography.com's Classic Camera DB). Not sure if this is an issue? Is it more sensitive to get out of callibration compared to a Leica M?
