Summaron 35/2.8 vs LLL 35mm 8 element

The Summaron was one of my favorite lenses in terms of output, especially in BW. I loved the ergonomics of the barrel, but I had a goggled mersion and I disliked the form factor of that set up. I planned to sell it and get a regular M Summaron, but it was a the time that we were offered the LLL for $500 and I jumped at the opportunity to have a faster lens with what was promised to be a vintage rendering. I've now owned the LLL 35/2 for a few years and enjoy using it it for its ergonomics and lower light advantage over the f2.8...but as far as rendering, the sharpness and shadow detail of the Sumamron was superior.
