Summicron 40 sticky focus ring?

Hi!
I have owned a total of 4 summicron 40 the last 7 years. All of them are kind of hard to focus, it's smooth but stil hard to move compared to newer leica lenses, voigtländer lenses or zeiss lenses. Is there a known problem for the 40mm or is it just the way they are?

They are simply old, compared to the newer lenses you mention. The lubrication doesn't last forever.
