Seeing this thread this morning inspired me to switch lenses on the M8 from the 35 Lux to the Rigid Summicron. The M8 "loves the Cron".

This lens is such a gem, but I never shot it wide open (always at f/5.6) because I assumed that such an old lens is not sharp wood open. I should try it wide open to see how the bokeh looks like.

You don't have to worry about the sharpness at full aperture. That sharpness is outstanding.

I owned a Rigid for about 3 years. I love its renderding and handling but finally sold it because I shoot focal 50mm too little to keep it. Now only 35mm lens remained.
