Very nice candid. Yet, the right side of the photo... How to tell this... Some will call it glow.

thanks, absolutely not!
the little girl was listening to the story of the famous McCurry shot with a little walkman provided at the exhibition, in Tourin (Italy)

absolutely not!

I assumed so -- I was just making a snide reference to the recent hullabaloo about McMurray's "storytelling" methods, not aimed at you or this photo. It's a lovely shot with the three girls / ladies.

EDIT: j.scooter beat me to it! :D

ops, I didn't get it :D

I saw the shots from Cuba in this exhibition and they were outrageous... if I was Mccurry I'd never let those prints to be exposed

From the test roll -- still evaluating whether to keep this copy or not.

Wide open is truly an "art lens" (almost in the lomo spirit?). All my examples from the test roll at f/1.4 are not fit to post. If I keep the lens it will take a bit of experimenting to get a feel for that.

Thanks Guilio,
I've just sent mine off to get the aperture ring adjusted and the focus tab replaced so hopefully I'll get it back soon. I miss it already!
