I don't know if I've ever really gotten comfortable with the 35mm lenses, but I am intruiged by the 35/1.4 pre-asph. Very interesting wide open, sharp closed down and retro inbetween.

Is the character of this lens the same as the nikkor sc 5cm 1.4? Veiling flare wide open?

The scattering circles with a light point in the middle are a characteristic of the V1.
Beautiful pictures! Nice to see how these lenses work on a digital camera.
