Leica LTM Summitar Hood: Which Series VI adapter?

I'm trying to acquire a Series VI adapter so I can mount a Series VI hood on my Summitar, but I'm a little confused as to which Series VI adapter I need. Seems like they come in various sizes as well as threaded and clip-on versions. Can someone enlighten me? Thanks very much.

Summitars have a special tapered thread and you are not likely to find an adapter for it.

I got my Summitar Series 6 hood and adapter here, and it's pretty cheap. In fact, I just ordered an adapter, hood and UV filter for my Summar.

Just email them and ask for what you want.

You'll need a push-on adapter, something just under 42 mm. Better by far to look for the collapsible hood made for this lens.

On my Summitar i use a Leitz IROOA lens hood, with success.
