Quite true. Never tried mine on color but looks, I dont know, like old times film photos. Quite nice indeed.

In my experience, the Summitar is great with color (these are with Portra 400).

What kind of film did you use? it looks almost like an Autochrome.

I really love this lens. It draws so nicely. Only word that I can use is 'delicate.' Sharp with low contrast, muted tones. Beautiful.

Thank you! The Chihuahuas we found out were pets, the regular sized dogs were ferrell beggers. This was a grab shot and despite the dust spots, it turned out wonderfully. I was enjoying some tamales and jalepenos with this fellow waiting for some scraps.

A little spot near my work place. Really like the dreamy quality of the Summitar on my Bessa R2. Sure, not a lens for every ocassion but just right for this kind of shot I think.
