sunday night buy...my film plan!!

I've got both the X700 and XD-11. Really nice cameras that I don't use nearly enough. The glass is excellent and lenses are pretty cheap these days. The 50/1.7 and 35/2.8 are especially nice in the way they render.

still very pricey though...especially compared to the 58/1.4.

it's worth every penny if you can stomach the minolta bodies.

I've bought and sold a lot of lenses, the 58/1.2 Rokkor is the only one I regret and the only one I would buy again.

ps for film see if you can track down some Neopan 1600

About a year ago picked up a XG-1 w/45 f2 that had a missing strap lug. It was $10 and operates fine but I have so many cameras I've not shot but one short load of Pan F from bulk.

Sigh, too many cameras, too little time.

The only times I have had problems with Minolta SRT bodies I've picked up very cheaply, is when I try using them without getting them overhauled first. After that I have had no more problems.

Wow !

Wow !

So much fun for so little cash: unbeatable

My very first camera was the Minolta SR7 from my parents. It is still in perfect condition in my gear stock.

my 45/2 and my 202 with another 45/2 are now in the mail...couple weeks and it will be pretty cold here and i'll be knee deep in film!!
looking forward to grainy snow scenes...
