Found a really sweet Super Ikonta 531/16, but...it's missing the pressure plate that clips on the springs on the inside of the camera back.
It would seem to me that this would result in out of focus phots, plus, it's missing whatever little bit of red glass is supposed to go in the hole in the back.
Am I nuts?

As said before by mail (guess it's you Andrew) the 531/16 Super Ikonta III doesn't have a "standard" red window but it is a peep hole which is only used to check if there is a film loaded inside the camera. A red piece of glass is not really necessary but the slide to close that window should be there and functional.
The pressure plate is really necessary and unless you can canibalize it from another camera or make one yourself you will have no good image results.
