Negativistic forever
It seems to me there are two pretty distinct categories of pictures displayed in this thread....
Well said.
There are obvious surrealistic images (the last one by Out to Lunch could fit well in a David Lynch film) ; others are more what I might call "irrealistic" images - many of these are excellent.
But I see no problem in letting them together in the same thread. Those two categories benefit from each other.

Found this today in the Albuquerque Journal:
Eloy Gonzales, 72, greets Carli the beagle from High Desert Therapy Dogs outside his room at Avamere Rehabilitation at Fiesta Park. The dogs visit on Wednesdays and Saturdays, but because of COVID-19 restrictions the visits must be outside through the window. (Adolphe Pierre-Louis / Albuquerque Journal)

I do not know that I would think of it as surrealist exactly Erik but it is exquisite. Very well seen and executed. I like it a lot.

Thank you, Peter! Your comment would be true for all my pictures as they are all simple views of reality. But I found when you can see in one view both opposite sides of a building - and from the outside - surrealistic enough for this thread.

Bravo! Great expression of the theme.
Also a nice example of the extraordinary capacity of that camera for making in-camera multiples.

I just had to do a double take. I've got the same shot in my gallery from several years ago.
