Hi
Can anyone please help me source UK dealer - ideally, Northern England or even Scotland - for Zeiss Ikon Z1 body/camera.
Would like to see, feel, touch, and fire a few test shots before commiting to purchase.
New or used
Many thanks indeed.

Thank you for the leads on the Z1 retailers - much appreciated and aplogies for the dealy in acknowledging same.
Have checked out the respective websites; the prices for new kit are painful to behold so will need to track down used kit but suspect that this may be thin on the ground.

Glasgow - Scotland
Ffordes in Inverness is 4 hour drive with no congestion.
Would really like to handle camera before commiting to purchase so may just have to get behind the wheel.
Regards.

Ahh. Leeds is 4 hours in the other direction and we're not due back to Scotland for a few months I'm afraid - otherwise you're welcome to have a look at mine. They are really very nice to hold and look through.

Make sure that you ask for a Zeiss Ikon and not a Z1. Otherwise, you'll just get an odd look from the sales staff.
But definitely you have a good idea to want to handle the body and lenses. It will give you the best indicator whether it's the camera for you.
