Hello
I am thinking of having a go at making a minor modification to the circuitry of my Sverdlovsk 4 meter so that the on button latches for about 15 seconds (similar to the Voigtlander VC). Does anyone know how to open it? I'm not sure whether it prises apart or whether there are screws under the metal plates...
Thanks
Ben

You need to remove the metal plate at the back to reveal a screw. The rest is a piece of cake. Pay care when removing the exposure calculator disk so that you get it back in place correctly.

Sorry, I'm probably being really stupid, but how do you get the metal plate off please?

Unscrew it

Thanks, but if it's the plate I think it is, it's a flat oblong plate almost flush with the surface, and I can't see any way of unscrewing it or levering it out...?

Oh, that plate, sorry. On mine its bit bent on the corner, as it was levered out. I'm not sure but those plates are glued on, I think I saw once one without it.
