Cheers!
Pretty set on the Sonnar (over the Planar), not sure yet about the wide angles. Biogon 21mm f/2.8 or the lighter and distortion-free f/4.5, or even get the f/2.8 25mm? The latter looks sweeter the more I research about it.
In any case, very excited to try Ikon + Sonnar C 50 + Acros or Portra.
best,
Peter

The 21/4.5 is pretty sweet. I really like mine.

Also, your comment reminds me about the tale of the parents with the little boy who was obsessively optimistic. So much so, the parents took him to see a therapist. After counseling the young lad, the therapist did agree that the boy was overly optimistic... so much so that as he grew older, he would surely suffer from the reality and disappointments in life.
The therapist suggested that since christmas was only weeks away, the parents simply place a huge pile of horse manure in the living room next to the christmas tree.
When Christmas arrived, the parents awoke to a large amount of noise from downstairs. They rushed downstairs and there was the optimist. He had dived into the pile of manure and was throwing horse dung right and left, digging away.....He looked at his parents gleefully and yelled...
You can't fool me.... I know there's a pony in here somewhere!!!

Ikon + 50mm Sonnar... I bet the first roll out of that setup makes you squeal like a little girl unwrapping a new pony.
