I tried out using old film for a different look with the SWC.

Nice work Raid - love the colours you're getting there.

Thanks Chris. I view such colors similar to what you get with Polaroid film. I also then remove all colors for a B&W look image. 220 film gives me 24 images per roll.

The film was developed and scanned at Dwayne's Photo.

Thank you, Johan,
Your projects sound quite interesting. The SWC is the only film camera that interests me these days. I bought it as I bought the M8, with the main goal to anchor me to film.
I have lots of MF film in the freezer, so I use it even if it is expired.
The beauty of the SWC is that having only one lens, it forces the user to think more about the composition, and having a "basic camera/lens" combo is also liberating overall.
Leica M9 (and one lens) with the SWC form a great pair of cameras for travel and relaxing photography.

Some images appear with blown highlights. The original scans came to be as low contrast scans, and the main reaon(s) for the appearance may have been the fact that the 220 film was expired for many years and also the fact that (maybe) the exposure settings were off because the film was expired. I tried to make the scans look "better".

Beautiful photographs Raid.
Was the camera mounted on a tripod?
If not, shows steady hands!

Thank you Bill. No tripod here. I was holding an umbrella with one hand/arm while I used the other hand to take photos. My SWC has no neck strap either.

Hi Raid,
Looks like you are getting "tuned in" to using the camera. I have found you need interesting foreground and background to work with wide lenses. Looks like you are getting "into the groove". Keep going with it. Looks great!

Thanks. I dedicated several days for photography with the SWC to get a feel for it.

Gorgeous images Raid.
The SWC is an amazing camera and you got some great photos with it.
What film was it?
I just finished a 220 roll of expired FujiPro 160C in my Bronica ETRSI (30 frames!) and I really like how it turned out.

Nice photos, Raid. I would love to have a SWC but I also want a Rolleiflex.
Currently the 21SA is my super wide fix.

Thank you Vincent.
I also have several Rolleiflex TLRs. They are wonderful cameras.

I have here photos taken with XP2 120 film on the SWC. I was still trying to learn how to use this camera.
