Gerry, this is one of my favorite photos of me now. Thank you for making it, and for your friendship. Having a friend to go take photos with makes a big difference in my life.

That's a great portrait, Gerry, and it would appear that you are a rare friend.

I have been watching Colton's photography for some time, hoping a little of it will rub off on me, as he manages to compose and capture the kind of images I aspire to.

My thanks and appreciation to both of you.

Murray,
Thanks for the positive comments. Like you, I have been hoping to see things as Colton does, but no joy so far. I walk right by a photo op until he tells me to halt and that it is time to shoot one. Never fails to amaze me.

I too am trying to learn from Colton's pictures, as I am often out shooting with no people anywhere to be seen, so I am left to make a few shots without them. I think I'm starting to get it.

Nice to see your portrait Colton, and a big shout-out to your friend Gerry. Friends are like gold, you don't need many, but it is great to have a good one.

I realized years ago that I am not really a people photographer, so I just try to focus on what I'm good at :)
I do have photos of family and friends that I've made that I think are good photos, but photographing strangers isn't my thing.

It is definitely good to have friends, and Gerry is a good one :)
Probably half the photos I've made this year were made with Gerry, and made with his help.

Here's a photo I made of Gerry on one of our outings earlier this year. Made with my Rolleiflex 2.8C and Cinestill 800T.
