My stable of cameras includes several Nikons, of which I use chiefly the F5; Bronica ETRSi; Mamiya RB67; Fuji GX680; and a couple of LFs. My Bessa R3A is among the quietest operating cameras which I own: no "thunk" of mirror slap, no "whir-ir-ir" of motor drive. My LF lenses are about as quiet, but those cameras are no where near as versatile. I'll be using the R3A in May when I escape Baghdad, Iraq for a short R&R in Italy. Were it not for the dust and heat, I'd bring it back to capture the sights of war.
