Any one else see this guy? Dodge & Burn t's? They look cool though a bit expensive. But Mother's Day and Father's Day is coming up. Maybe a hint would procure one hmmm?

PS I don't have anything to do with this guy I just thought they are pretty nifty.

Seriously?
People pay that much for a t-shirt and a screen-print of a camera?

Amazing.

Harley Davidson T-shirts run more than that...🙄 But even CafePress has overly large cameras on the t-shirts when a smaller less garish image on the pocket or above a pocket would be preferable IMO.

But, to each his/her own... I am cool with that.

On a forum where people routinely buy lenses and cameras well into four figures each, I don't see why spending the equivalent money of 5 rolls of good color 35mm film for an american made t-shirt is such a big deal.

We buy what we buy because we like it. We could buy plain white Hanes Beefy T's and shoot Kodak Funsavers, but we chose not to.

Unix,

We don't shoot with Kodak Funsavers because of its limitations. If you can show me where I can buy Kodak Funsavers that is as versatile as let's say a Maxxum 7, I'd use it in a heartbeat. Wouldn't you?

But a $29 shirt that has a wireframe of a camera on it does not improve on anything that a $8 t-shirt gives me.

If I buy two (and a half) of those shirts, I'd be out the same amount I paid for my Domke F2. Just as American, and a hundred times more useful.

But yeah, it's not like I can do anything about however much people spend on anything. I'm simply expressing my amazement. 🙂

Dave, I'm cool with that too.
I'm not the one spending the money 😛

Sure it does. "Hey, nice shirt ... I have one of those cameras at home in the closet. Do you want it?"

Hey... not a bad idea, Steve! 😀

When I grew up my dad had a plastic handbag business, silk screens, ink and turpentine bottles are *everywhere* in our little house.

Why not get your own made up? I have one with a large Rolleiflex E2 and another with a Voigtlander RF, from my own shots. Total cost, including delivery, was £27 (about $35).

Nikon S2 Tees & others

Within the last six months I ordered a coupld of XXXLarge tees with a really nice Nikon S2 on the front - large image on a grey tee. I found them when looking for, yes, Nikon S2 listings on the 'Bay. They were in the US$10-and-under category. The outfit (I forget who) had a bunch of camera-themed tees. Then again, there's always Noisebot and their wonderful stuff than you can't wear in public.
