Why mount it on an M3?
The base length doesn't help with a fixed focus.

there is a xenon 0,95 /50mm in C mount... that usually shows up for less money (bought mine for 50$)... I'm trying to adapt it on a penF... because it's the shorter flange distance reflex available... and by no means I would try to play with a rangefinder cam that needs to be so precise.
It seems that the lens covers the 18x24 (mm) format...
