Tell me about old Voigtlanders? Vitessa?

At one of my antique malls I visit I found a voightlander
Vitessa with Ultron lens and case(looked mint, untested)
and a Prominent with Noktor? lens in the same condition.
Anyone up on these models? Worth buying and using?
Anyone know of a webpage I could look up these cameras?

This fellow also had a 1956 Rolliflex with F2.8 lens(mint)
and a Pentax Spotmatic with 50mm F1.4 and case(mint).

Those are all very worthwhile cameras.The Prominent and Rolleiflex each worth several hundred $. $100 each for the Vitessa and Spotmatic if mint. Just a rough guide!

I've two Prominents, an I and an Ia. Nokton, Ultron, couple of Skoparons, and a good 100mm (the other has fungus, sadly)

They take nice pictures. I'll post some heavily pushed Nokton photos later today, I just scanned 'em.

That's a nice site. I'll have to run some color through the cameras to see.

The Nokton is a premium lens. If it is a decent price get the Prominent with Nokton. The Vitessa with Ultron is also a good camera, if the finder is aligned. If they are reasonable prices, GRAB THEM!!!
 
Here's a Prominent Question- where's the case to hold the Nokton/Ultron when off the camera? I've never seen one listed, and the lens doesn't fit well in either the 35mm or 100mm case.

So, when changing lenses, what does one do with the standard lens?
 
Same problem as with the Nikon S-Mount normal lens. No helical and the rear element is inset into the camera. Rear caps are a fortune. I just put the lens into the case for the lens mounted onto the camera. The Nikon 3.5cm F2.5 case is a close match.
 
Brian, I dont know which models of vitessa and Promenent
they were! I did not see a II or anything on them...both
had cases, prom had owners manual too..
What would be a good price for these do you think?
